I have a coworker we just call Pops and he’s literally the most interesting man on the planet. Dude served in the air force, army, and navy during vietnam, was an explosives tech, was an award winning sniper, was a private investigator, killed at least 3 people as a civilian, was an alcoholic nearly the whole time, was a protester at GM, worked for GM, was a bodyguard for high profile people, and now he works his ass off as a dock worker and I love him so much. Dude is like a dad to me and I could literally sit there for hours listening to his stories
