@why-animals-do-the-thing what the heck?
This is priceless. Fur is a great nest-building material. Normally, birds get it from snags on branches or (maybe, I’m not sure) dead animals. I know some people who actually put out a bird-feeder full of hair for the birds after they brush out their dog, specifically so that it can be turned into nesting material.
This is a very brave birb who has learned where it comes from and just decided to go get some from the source, and a dog who is probably too asleep to care.
I’M CRYING LOOK WHAT MY CAT DID IN HER SLEEP
Blep blep blep
CATS ARE SO WEIRD
Oh my god. This is too cute.
My best guess is that it’s a motor pattern involved in a dream the cat is having - probably either grooming behavior or drinking. Either way, awwwwww.
THIS WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE VIDEO ON THIS WEBSITE
I bookmarked this months ago and it still makes me laugh until I can’t breathe
IT’S BACK
I HONESTLY FORGOT THIS WAS THE FIRST VIDEO TO EVER MAKE ME CRY
Hungarian musician Boggie sits still and sings for her latest music video… So what makes it interesting?
As she performs, her video editor retouches her skin, hair, facial features, and lighting during the song so that by the end everything looks “right”…
(This is actually really cool: Source)
No seriously you need to watch this.

It’s worth the watch to see what a massive difference lighting, make up, hairstyling and image editing can do to a person. Shows anyone with access to all these things can look pretty damn great too, not just celebs.
rabbits only flop over like that if they feel completely safe btw
to elaborate: bunnies are prey animals and almost never have their guard down– even when they’re resting they’ll usually have their back legs in a position that allows them to quickly run away. if they’re jumping around it means they’re extremely happy!! and if they flop down w/o a care that means they feel very very comfortable and safe to the point of not having to worry about their surroundings. ^__^
This is just the happiest video IMO.
“PLAY! FUN! Happy! Play?” *looks at dog* “No, no play? Naps? Okay. Naps.” *flop*
Some wiggly snow play time. We bring the snow into their exhibit bucket by bucket. It’s a labor of love.
wow its almost as if……….. they miss their natural habitat…. hmmmm
Fun fact. They can’t miss it, because they were born in captivity as a part of the Species Survival Plan. You can learn about it here https://www.aza.org/species-survival-plan-programs . And if you knew Shasta you’d know that he doesn’t miss the wild and he loves/basks in the easy life here. Also Shasta was gonna be a fur coat. But we saved him. So I don’t think he is missing that either.

Dani’s right. They’re reacting to a fun novel stimuli, not some romanticized notion of a wild they’ve never experienced.
Are we sure that foxes are canines? Are we sure they aren’t just big stupid cats?
Ugh what a cutie
I NEED IT
I need 12
foxes aren’t canines…
WELL, they’re certainly not felines.
I’m going to textgrab from this post by prokopetz:
I often see foxes referred to as “catdogs” on Tumblr, but I wonder if folks realise how true that really is.
There’s a phenomenon called convergent evolution that occurs when two taxonomically unrelated species exploit the same ecological niche. The features that are needed to best take advantage of a given niche are pretty much the same everywhere you go; thus, over time, those species will become anatomically and behaviourally similar, even though they’re completely unrelated.
And foxes? Foxes are what you get when an ecosystem has no native small felines, so a canine species evolves to take advantage of the ecological niche that would have been exploited by a small feline, if one existed.
In other words, a fox is literally what you get when a dog tries to cat.
So, in a way…
1. this is the steel is heavier than feathers guy
2. swans can break your bones with their wings (i think) and they’re overall animals you should avoid because if they have a nest they’re very very protective and overall. dont mess with swans. leave them alone and give them space which is why hes running
3. hes saying ‘the fucks that, man’
