Yeahhh but let’s be real. Whenever anyone talks about intelligent life they always talk as if they have the same shit that we do. Human cultures couldn’t even decide what was and wasn’t important. When culture develops the steam engine another has no need for it. Perhaps the reason aliens have yet to have contacted us is because they don’t give a shit about space.
My favorite / saddest reason we haven’t found life yet is because we’re either too early, too late, or truly alone.
