Hi pharmacist here! Effexor should never be stopped abruptly nor any ssri or snri bc of what's called discontinuation syndrome which can make u feel like shit. Any antidepressant takes time to see true effects as well bc it is literally telling your body to make more receptors and change DNA expression. Talk to a pharmacist we know more than the MDs about drugs :) hang in bestie
