Reading his short story borrowed glory as we speak. Old Ronnie never edited anything he wrote. It was how he was able to turn out 40,000 words in a day. I can certainly tell because the things he writes are sometimes missing actions and the dialogue is incredibly clunky. Example
In the short story I’m currently reading he speaks about how the main character and a guy she let go outside. They have a brief conversation and then it says that the “big car drew away.” Motherfucker forgot to write her getting in the car or the car being there at all
