This Village Without Roads Is Straight Out Of A Fairytale Book
The village Giethoorn known as the “Venice of the Netherlands” was founded in 1230 and resembles some of the most beautiful fairytale passages. The stunning oddity contains no roads or modern transportation. With the help of canals and 176 bridges, people are able to navigate through its wonders.

This is amazing!
Although not quite one-of-a-kind,
this beach in Hawaii is certainly an extremely rare sight to behold.
Rather than the usual golden or white sand you’d find blanketing the
shores, this is one of only four green beaches in the world! No, it’s
not algae or some kind of alien conspiracy, there is a perfectly logical
explanation for its grassy hue. Papakolea Beach formed around a cinder
cone (that’s the name given to the mound of debris surrounding a
volcanic vent) that was rich in the mineral olivine, which
unsurprisingly is olive green in color. As the waves lapped at the
cinder cone, it gradually broke down and turned into a magnificent green
sand. Let’s take a look at this miracle of nature.

This is the densest thing in the known universe. This object doesn’t abide by our laws of nature. Black holes will be around long after every star has died and every planet is a cold husk. This black hole sees all of time around it, all at the same time. You’re looking into infinity and vast nothingness at the same time. This little blurry picture is our first direct look at the most powerful object in the universe. This picture proves Einstein and Hawking were right. This picture is the culmination of 100 years of hard work and an array of telescopes crisscrossing our entire planet. This is the first day of a new branch of astrophysics. Fuck y’all calling me a nerd at least I can appreciate the work and passion that went into this very image
