I’ve been exploring flash games on flashpoint lately and it only came out in 2015 so it’s not like early-baby-era of flash games but the Cube Escape series is nuts with how MUCH it has for a flash game. It’s an escape the room type game so it’ll take longer than your average flash game but there’s so much to do, like it’s a fully fleshed out game that like, nowadays you could probably find on steam for like $5

THE ART WAS AMAZING, THE MUSIC IS BREATHTAKING. THE SCRIPT IS EMOTIONAL AND HAS SO MUCH HEART AND SOUL TO IT. THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL MULTI-DEMENSIONAL AND COMPLEX, THE VILLAIN IS COMPLEX AND MORALS ARE QUESTIONED ON ALL SIDES OF IT. THERE’S LAUGHTER AND TEARS AND A THEME OF FAMILY, OF GROWING UP, OF BELONGING, FREEDOM, AND SO MUCH MORE. PLEASE. WATCH TREASURE PLANET, IF NOTHING ELSE ITS AN IMAGINATIVE HOUR AND A HALF OF GREAT VISUALS.

in 2014 we had dashcon and 2015 brought us sonic-for-real-justice, and I was getting disappointed that there wasn’t another absurd summer trainwreck on this website to follow, but matpat came to the fucking rescue and gave a steam code for undertale to the literal pope

For anyone wondering why we’re all crying about the Unravel presentation at E3 today, here is the presentation.  After hours of stuffy old people just reading off of scripts and trying to make awkward jokes to fit in with the youngins, it was SO refreshing to have someone come on stage and be so… sincere, and in love with their game.  His raw emotions and true passion really captured my interest and, I think, the hearts of everyone watching.

Also, the little “hi!” from Yarny is cavity-inducing sweetness, omg.
