I’ve been in the psych ward a few times and have good and bad experiences from it. The best though was when it was only 4 patients on the unit (compared to them trying to stuff it full)
And 3/4 of us could take care of ourselves just fine (the other girl was detoxing off meth and was having a rough go of it)
But they let us get away with so much against the rules and it was so chill. Nobody screaming at us or sexually harassing us and we had our mental vacation. 10/10
When I was in the ward they even let me have my phone as long as I was supervised which was really nice. I met some cool people on the floor and our bedtime was whenever and the food wasn’t great but it was better than my cooking lol
