i wishi could go to the psych ward because i have a weed problem but rehab costs money and the last time i went i suspect they were drugging me 24/7 because the medicine they gave me didnt treat anything i had when i looked it up and just made me sleep all the time because i am also autistic too. it was ok otherwise but very boring and i hated it because there were too many people in group therapy and i didnt feel like i made any progress at all.
That’s the experience some people have unfortunately. They gave me sleeping meds too because I was detoxing and it’s typically an unforgiving place to autistic folks because they don’t focus so much on long term health but rather immediate gratification
