Friend's house got broken into once, the security system called him because they couldn't get in contact with his parents and told him, 'we called the police already but they said they aren't sending anyone because they don't have anyone available.' My friend had to leave classes for the rest of the day to go back home and see if anything had been stolen or if someone was still there because the cops couldn't be assed to show up.
