Whenever I bought my first car I drove to my parent’s house (a county over), a state trooper pulled me over and wrote me a ticket for having a temporary license plate (even though I just got the car THAT DAY) and for having the wrong address on my license. He said as long as I paid the fees they would drop it off my record. And I asked him where I needed to go to pay for it and he walked away without telling me. I had to ask my friends cause I never got a ticket before and had NO CLUE. I honestly don’t think you can pull someone over for a fucking temporary license plate but he sure did. And I had to pay for the “court fees.”
I got a ticket once for a temp plate and I took it to court and won
