This isn’t as Severe as most of the other cop stories but here goes

- I’m walking to my car at school (college)

- I’m texting on my phone but I can multitask, thank you very much

- I go to step on the crosswalk and see in my periphery a car stopping for me

- because I HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. AS A PEDESTRIAN. ON A CROSSWALK. IN A PARKING LOT.

- so I keep going

- a cop in a car CALLS ME OVER TO HIM

- to tell me to watch out

- then REPEATS HIMSELF when I tell him I saw the dude stopping for me

…this was three years ago. I still regularly think about it because it had been a Day and that fucker made me take my earbuds out so he could lecture me on how to safely walk. Sir. Sir I’m an Adult and I’ve been an Adult for years at this point. Kindly leave me the fuck alone.

…so yeah. I don’t like cops. Not to mention my younger sister’s best friend’s dad is a cop who cheated on an absolute SWEETHEART of a wife and now they’re moved 150 miles away.
