A couple years back I was walking by a small local pond. Along the shore I found a big kitchen knife stabbed into the ground covered in blood, there was quite a bit of blood around it too. I didnt want to find anything I wouldn't want to see so I made a bee line to the local police station 2 blocks away. I went up to the cop at the desk and said " I found a bloody knife by so and so pond!" The cop didn't even look up from what they were doing and told me in the most "I dont give a shit" tone of voice "We'll send a kit out". They didn't even take a statement.
