Shitty Cops stories? Oh boy I have one:

So I was out really late with my brother and his friend, we had gone downtown and just hung out and it was like ,,,1am ? By the time we headed back to our city just below the one we had been in (not far at all, like 30 minutes out) and there's this long stretch of highway from the big city to ours and we were driving past it, my brother was driving and I was in the backseat and his friend was passed out in the passengers seat, she was drunk but just looked like she was asleep so you wouldn't even know unless you woke her up, and we passed by a cop on the side of the road. It was obvious they were waiting for someone speeding or anything y'know ,,, an actual a traffic violation?

But nope, we pass them and they pull out behind us and trail us the entire way to my neighborhood. My brother was scared because we weren't doing anything wrong, he wasn't speeding, he was completely sober and driving well. But this cop trailed us, turning with us when he turned to go down the side road that leads to my neighborhood.

Important thing: I live with my Padre and my brother lives with my Mother, he's technically my step-brother but I just call him my brother. I had been spending the night at my mother's house and hanging out with my brother and we didn't originally plan on going back to my house for ,,,anything.

I told my brother to go to my house for a very specific reason.

It was a City Cop following us...my house(and neighborhood in it's entirety) is in a pocket that isn't part of the city...we follow county law and only county officers can respond to discrepancies within the neighborhood. Which means this city cop could not follow us into my neighborhood and to my house. Thankfully he didn't but from my driveway we can see a neighborhood a little distance away and we watched them drive down the road to that neighborhood and realised...they were waiting for us to leave...yeah we didn't leave my house for a long time so we weren't paranoid trying to go back to my mother's house (which was just 5 minutes away by car)
