Shitty Cop Story: once when I was 16 and home alone someone actually was actively trying to break into my house and the cops took like 35 minutes to show up, at which point thankfully the person had given up and left, and they were just like "well...he's gone so? whatever if he comes back call 911 again" and lord it took all of my strength not to reply with "so what? you can take an hour next time?" like fuck cops
