My favorite part of rogue one is how they all make it off Scarif and live happily ever after :))))))))))))

baze was able to handle losing his home just fine

it was only when chirrut died did baze lose all will to live

(because chirrut was his home)

and baze seemed to be skeptical of chirrut chanting “i am one with the force the force is with me”

and then when chirrut died in his arms only then did he begin chanting the same thing

baze died looking fondly at chirrut’s dead body 

like he was happy to die because he’d see chirrut again ‘in the force’

i always wondered about the star wars universe how history is so easily forgotten like “oh so they stories were true?” yes rey!! have you never seen holos? anything? “who was my dad” are u kidding me luke what happened to ur dad is like the modern day equivalent of obama dismembering donald trump with a katana inside a volcano but then! i remembered! look at their fucking data of the death star plans its a fucking floppy disk and look at scariff they put all their records on EVEN MORE awkward and inconvenient floppy disks imagine having to carry around a suitcase full of fucking vhs sized floppy disks and they all look alike!! no labeling! are those the plans to the death star or a recipe for a space casserole? who knows! no wonder history is lost so easily jesus

the fact that darth vader built his fucking emocastle on Mustafar where ol’ ben cut his arms and legs off just makes him even more of an edgelord and his garbage pun as he was choking tf out of krennic and then his #sashayaway and oh my god his chest panel lights up so when he made his entrance onto the rebel ship you KNOW he turned off the chest panel so he could light up his lightsaber and be all dramatic honestly #iconic 

Baze and Chirrut have been married for 30 years btw
