For the anon who feels they have wasted time: I feel you so much, stranger. I feel like I was absent on the day they were handing out guides on how to "do" life and I've wasted what feels like an eternity. But, like the other anon said, comparing your life to others' really is futile and will only bring you down. What I've learned in recent years is that nobody actually has figured shit out. Nobody. Everybody is winging it, even when they stand behind white picket fences, sipping cocktails and driving Teslas. Societal pressures and social media has given us an infinite amount of boxes that we need to tick in order to "fit in" and crazy "deadlines" in order to do so. Your life is yours. You're not out of time, in any way, shape or form. Mourn the past, but don't dwell on it. What happened, happened. What didn't, didn't. Be present in the present. I hope you make your peace with what didn't happen and that you get to create the life you desire - or get closer to figuring out what that life looks like.
