A word of advice from someone who is always doing their nails: wear a gel nail polish and put on a top coat clear gel, use a base coat too if you can. This is gonna keep the polish lasting a lot longer, which is good if you don't rlly care for maintenance and do a lot of hard labour. The base coat is also gonna keep your nails strong and healthy. Gel polish is easier to apply and lasts longer also!
I do base coat, color coat, then top coat. I grew up watching Simply Nailogical lol
