My youngest cat was a rescue. He was abandoned by mama and he found his way into hiding in our garage. We took him in because he was such a wee babe and we thought he was a girl, even the vets thought he was a girl, but he was so little and malnourished you could hardly tell. The vets didn’t even think he would live because he was less than a pound at 4 weeks. I bottle fed him and spoiled him and I named him Ali. I named him after Mohammed Ali as the fighter had recently died and little Ali was such a fighter. When we went in to get him fixed (at this point we knew he was a male) the vets were surprised that he was not, in fact, a little lady. So despite his name being Ali, named after a man, his name got shortened to Al, or Alfie/Alfred when he’s in trouble. He is very stupid and behaves more like a dog than a cat, but he is the biggest sweetpea I’ve ever had and I love him so much even though he is an idiot
Despite his dumb-ness, he’s very good at figuring out when people need cuddles. If you’re upset he’ll forcibly burrow himself into your arms like a service animal would. He loves to play fetch. He loves his walkies. He’ll talk back to you like a husky would.
He bites his own tail and gets so excited he runs into walls sometimes but he’s such a little angel ugh I love him so much
