hi, i know you probably already know this but. make sure to have some heating pads and ibuprofen/pain killers ready after the iud appointment. i got mine a little over a year ago and honestly? i don’t regret it whatsoever.
you’ll probably be crampy for like a week after but then it just kinda chills out. honestly i just treated the appointment/insertion like a piercing, i would ask your doctor to count down, breathe in and then breathe out as it goes in.

I didn’t actually get it today because I was 10mins late to my appointment because of construction and the dr wouldn’t see me
