I remember when I was 11 for Christmas I got an iPod and I had to download videos to it because every other week I went and stayed with my dad and he didn’t have internet or anything and I remember some of the videos saved on my iPod were some episodes of Star Trek, a bunch of Smosh videos, and one (1) video of a pomegranate being de-seeded

Fredrik Knudsen’s series Down the Rabbit Hole is seriously one of my favorite series of all time. He covers just a menagerie of obscure topics ranging from the Collyer Brothers to Chris Chan to the bizarreness of YouTube Kids channels and nostalgic early 2000s events like what happened to Spoony and DarkSydePhil and stuff about how fucked up behind the scenes of Neopets was and weird scientific stuff like Time Cube and TempleOS. You should definitely check him out I’ve been a huge fan for like 3 years now and his content is so addicting

this was from my freshman year of college, shortly after I came out, when someone sent me to hang out with these two (somehwat) older trans guys to show me that it was gonna be okay
one of them told me about how he got his gender marker changed before it was technically allowed. what he did was he waited until he grew a beard, and then he walked into the dmv and pointed at the f on his liscense and said "there's been a mistake" and they were like "oh sorry about that sir"
