Sometimes when I'm driving alone I get this urge to swerve into oncoming traffic. A while ago a woman drove into a bus, both she and the driver died. They talked about it on the radio when I was in the car with my grandfather who used to drive a truck and owned a transport company. He said it's a fairly normal way to kill yourself, he knew several drivers to whom it had happened, and that it's (perhaps obviously) quite traumatic. I still get that urge sometimes but now I also remember that the driver is just some dude, my grandfather from the past, and it feels less like an option, less like something I could do.
I hope you're doing better. You're very valuable, and selfishly I want to keep you in my life.
Thank you for this and yeah it really is. A guy died in my front driveway after hitting our ditch and hitting the telephone poll on the other side. I was like 7 at the time and had to walk past it go go to school
