not 100% sure if I’m autistic but sure as shit I was scared of the doors in my bedroom because they looked like they had eyes. I convinced myself they could only see directly in front of them and I could avert the unknown nebulous consequences of being in their presence by being at an angle to them, which is the only reason I ever managed to sleep before the age of 7
My doors have knot holes that look like eyes too and they used to freak me out in the dark
