My dad loved to play monopoly with me and my siblings growing up. He was always the banker when we were little cuz you're not gonna trust the 8-year-old with the bank, and then it was just established. As we got older, if anyone else tried to be the banker, he'd insist on doing it and saying that at this point it would feel weird to him if he wasn't the banker

Nah turns out that was bullshit. Our whole childhoods he insisted on being the banker so he could cheat so that he would never lose to his kids. Grown man with a math degree cheating at monopoly with elementary schoolers

Turns out the man cheats constantly, liked learned some basic sleight of hand so he could win card games with friends and family and shit like that
