I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to information. I collect books, particularly textbooks about history and science, and I collect peoples stories. I’d go to my grandmas nursing home as a kid and record the old folk’s stories on my shitty little tape recorder because those stories are important. Not to you probably, but to them. I love hearing stories about the ‘good ole days’ and all the cool bars that used to exist around town or how a protest went down or what it was like working in the factories. These first hand accounts are all we have of our history sometimes and it’s so important for me to document it so it isn’t lost.
