I took a web design class while I was in art school, and I figured it would be a way for me to boost my skills past what I was already doing on my own. This teacher was so out of touch with who she was teaching, and what she was teaching. She thought that adding hover effects/transitions was super advanced and experimental type stuff, and I often ended up reteaching things to classmates while she wasn't in the room.
