Tell me about your telescope!! I love it!!
It’s a 10” dob. Dobs give you the best viewing quality for the buck but the drawback is that they’re massive and hard to transport. I paid about $600 for it new. It’s about the largest personal scope you can own, although you can find 12” and 16” scopes on eBay if you’re lucky. But again. They’re massive and difficult to lug around. Plus side! Dobsonians are relatively easy to make if you have precision tools to align the mirrors. If you’re looking for something with more portability I’d recommend a compact cassegrain. They’re more expensive but they’re lighter and more often than not remote controlled so you can hold on an object for long exposure shots that result in amazing astrophotography.
