BEFORE YOU READ: I’m trying to be anit government here, not anti you. Idk how to phrase this without sounding like I’m taking a dig at you (its the autism) and I’m really not trying to
What if, instead of going broke waiting for disability, you get a job that you could do sitting behind a desk and take care of YOURSELF~~~
There arent a lack of jobs out there and almost every employer is so desperate for employees that they’ll work around limitations.
The government fucking sucks, and relying on them to take care of you only takes away your independence more. disability is so fucking restrictive and monitored that you may be better off avoiding it. I know it seems a lot easier getting the monthly payments, but its a trap.
I don’t know your unique situation, and obviously sometimes it’s unavoidable. And again, I’m not trying to call you lazy or anything like that, I completely understand having physical limitations. It’s just, what seems easier now may end up screwing you over in the long run. I hope I dont sound like an ass
No I agree. I’m barred from working a job during this whole disability process. I’d be happy with a desk job but I have to be unemployed to apply for the benefits I’m going for but I’m a warehouse worker by trade and I can’t lift anymore because my back is fucked
