prefacing w/ i do not mean this in any kind of condescending techsupporty way i Promise, but did you try the repair installation function at all? if you did and it didn't work then it didn't, but a modpack i follow sent out an announcement to use that to get their pack working again (which worked for me), and it might be something to try if it happens a second time
I just nuked the file path and reinstalled the saves and it worked for me
