My favorite part about here is that it’s totally this liminal space like everyone is super friendly and ethereal here like I was on the breakwall and this lady that was taking pictures asked to take a picture of me because she said “I looked like the overseer of the lake, all wise and weary” and this guy with his husky pup sat on one of the dunes with me for like 15 minutes just watching the waves in complete silence what a beautiful place
There were a few kids playing on an ice slick and one of them ran up to me and handed me a piece of driftwood and was like “this is yours now it’s a gift from the lake” honestly I feel so at home here
I’ve been working on editing space images into “space porn”, specifically working with tilt shift. The photos were taken by Hubble but I processed and edited them into what they look like now. Hey here’s a (sort of) follow-up to the meteor headcanon. Crowley might not have his angelic connection to his stars anymore but they can make do!!
Examples of a Brocken Spectre, a phenomenon where a person’s giant shadow appears magnified onto clouds miles away. The shadow from the sun behind the person creates a halo, giving it an angelic appearance. This mostly occurs on any misty mountainsides or cloud banks, and can even be seen from aeroplanes.

Finnish soldier gets separated from the rest of his unit but he’s the only one carrying the emergency amphetamines for the unit, takes too many and goes on a one man rampage for like 2 weeks straight giving the opposing Soviet soldiers nightmares for decades. Oh and he did it all on skis.
Did he survive?
Yes, during his methed up 2-3 week rampage he got injured by a land mine, travelled 400km on skis, and only ate pine buds and a Siberian Jay that he caught which he ate raw. When he made it back to Finnish lines he was taken to a hospital where it was found his heart rate was nearly 200 beats per minute and his weight had dropped to 43kg (94.7lbs).
His name was Aimo Koivunen if you want to look him up
