So we ended up bringing home two kittens. Tripp-Lazarus on the left, Armitage on the right. Both a month old.
A mama lynx decided this Alaskan porch was a good spot to give birth.
I guess when a giant cat decides to have kittens on your porch, you have to let nature take its course.
I found a video of the lynx kitties!
And I found the porch owner who took more photos.

WHY are their LEGS so long i cant deal with this
Imagine them BEANS
As an adaptation to the cold of their native habitat, lynxes have very small beans relative to their paw size!
So you’d be getting a handful of squishy toes and fur, and some pretty big claws, but the beans would be small and well-hidden by fur.

Citra is REALLY bad at meowing. She sounds like a broken party favor when she remembers to actually meow.

Simcoe got 100% of the meowing capabilities.
WAIT! WAIT!! So, are you telling me that actual, normal meow was the sister? Who, seemingly, just meowed at the moment because she saw her sister struggling so she tried to help by giving her an example???
THAT was actually Seymour. Who does also love Citra, but wasn’t really helping. He’s just very vocal because he’s an exclamation mark in a cat’s body.
