similar to other anons, a friend (or rather, acquaintance at this point) of mine was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was just a child. we were a few grades off, but i knew her because her mom was close friends with my mom, and i'd always hear stories of her having to be in the hospital for days on end, and it would often put a damper in her studies. i always heard that she was quite upset by this, but she always had a smile on her face and took each day with a spring in her step. she was really brave, and if i'm not wrong she's actually doing really well for herself now too, even though her condition is still there. i'm really proud of her. i hope this offers some comfort to you
Thank you 💜
