Hot take but children deserve bodily autonomy and privacy and by you refusing them that you’re not being just a “strict” parent. You’re overbearing and controlling and your kids are gonna grow up to hate you.
This also applies to teachers. I dyed my hair green in middle school and almost had CPS called on my mother because of it. Mind ya damn business and let kids have weird hair.
