Today I had my Me Too moment. I finally told my AA leader that I’ve been sexually harassed for months by a man that was seen as a pillar to the community. I couldn’t stand it anymore, knowing he had power over other people and I finally said something. It’s not fair. That I have to now worry about being excommunicated from my meetings because of that man. But I will not be quiet anymore. It’s what the other victims, and I know I’m not the only one, deserve. I deserve better. Everyone deserves better. We. Deserve. Better.
