Age, size… size of testicles are all probably factors” and so naturally my roommate is like “dude I’m older, bigger, and have bigger testicles than both of them!” And I was like “yes Jared you would be the alpha rat I suppose” to which he responded by standing up off the couch, showing my rats his testicles, and whispering to them “I’m the alpha now”

My rats are potty trained so I’ll have them run about on my bed and I have about 80000 blankets and let me tell you they go fuckin nuts for blanket forts. They’re the best blanket fort makers I’ve ever seen. I have a really soft Sherpa blanket and let me tell you. They’re wild about it. I need to get tiny rat Sherpa blankets
I have an old torn up pillowcase and one of my rats has really bad seperation anxiety (and just anxiety in general) so I took the pillowcase and cut a little square out of it and gave it to the rat because it smells like me and now he’ll go to sleep wherever I put his little “blankie” oh my god it’s so cute
