To be completely honest with you I had struggled with depression for so long and it got so bad that in December I tried to take my own life (I’ve made posts about this before I’m open about it) but after that I moved home to be closer to family. I started on a different antidepressant that actually worked!! And I went from taking 21 credits and working 3 jobs to just taking 9 credits and god that helped a lot too! I used my free time to sort of do a lot of introspection into what I could do to make me happy, to help myself get out of the dark place I was in. I decided to start being an aggressively kind and optimistic person, even though it was really hard at first and there were a lot of setbacks, but it really helped too.
My depression still gets to me sometimes, but I’m a lot happier now :)
