Is the game you’re kickstarting focused on combat, exploration, roleplay, or none/all of the three?
The crunch is mainly combat oriented, with roleplay *mostly* abstracted. Basically a rules-medium game with a sprinkle of OSR spirit in the sense that player character mortality tends to be a bit higher than most modern titles.
But it’s really created with modularity in mind! You could do campaigns with little to no combat, or you could put together a tactical slaughterhouse to make Gary Gygax proud.
So basically all three but with a mechanical emphasis on combat. Said combat is stripped down and fast paced. I won’t reveal much in terms of rules yet but I will say that I’m rather fond of exploding damage dice.
