one of the most common jabs at the dipshits who pay for twitter blue is “you paid for a free website,” but at least twitter blue purports to provide extra features. the tumblr badge is evidence that you’re not only an even bigger sucker than that; you’ve also convinced yourself that a site whose staff has never once listened to its userbase except to steal jokes is actually gonna listen to you because you gave them $3

The thing that bothers me about this post is that this IS tumblr staff listening to the userbase - or am I the only one who remembers that one post that made the rounds awhile back about how "custom badges like you used to get on LJ" would be so cool and a feature that people would pay for?
I'm not saying you should or have to purchase the thing, OR that purchasing the color changing badge will make staff actually listen to you. I AM saying that tumblr is broke and since the tumblrinas can't afford to keep it afloat using the options that THEY asked for, maybe just start looking for alternate social media instead of bitching about how the product that you do not pay for does not meet your requirements
Also remember when post plus got rolled out to me alone and you sent me death threats? Because I sure do. What the fuck do y’all want lmao? Will you, @himbofisher, ever be happy? Or will you ever get over every minor change that the website makes?
