In high school I broke the female squatting record with like 350 pounds and the only reason it ever happened was because on the way down my legs gave out momentarily and scared the shit out of me but I was able to save it because the adrenaline rush kept me from getting crumpled and I was able to stand back up AND FLEX ON THE HATERS
When I got it off my neck I THREW that bar down so hard it shook the floor and the teacher would have kept pushing me but he could tell I almost fumbled it and was like “OK UR GOOD!!!”
According to one of my teacher friends my name is still on the achievement board for that maneuver
