I think for some actors, the fame is an unfortunate by-product of the work. I don’t feel quite like that. Don’t get me wrong: I’m very, very steadfast about wanting to keep my personal life personal and making sure that I have plenty of time with my family and friends. But it’s quite exciting to think you’ve achieved some level of success.

They just strip you of your rights of the video and post it without credit and you only get paid if you make a certain threshold off the content, plus they take at least a 40% cut

I’ve seen other people lose thousands by licensing, plus negotiating contracts to try to get a bigger cut can get you completely kicked from your own platform if you have a partnership. Doing Things Media recently just completely nuked All Gas No Brakes bc the host tried to renegotiate his contract and DTM cut him off and took his channel
