Singer uses her music video to intriguingly show how fake performers are in videos
Hungarian musician Boggie sits still and sings for her latest music video… So what makes it interesting?
As she performs, her video editor retouches her skin, hair, facial features, and lighting during the song so that by the end everything looks “right”…
(This is actually really cool: Source)
No seriously you need to watch this.

It’s worth the watch to see what a massive difference lighting, make up, hairstyling and image editing can do to a person. Shows anyone with access to all these things can look pretty damn great too, not just celebs.
I made a tiktok so I can stay hip with the young folk also fucking kill me
Sia - Elastic Heart
It is sad to see such a backlash to Sia’s beautiful music video, “Elastic Heart.” People are calling it “pedophilia” and saying it is disturbing seeing a man and a child dance together, seemingly naked, in a “sexual” manner. I think the saddest part about these allegations is how conditioned many people’s brains have become to hypersexualized music videos. When other artists perform some sort of fellatio on inanimate objects, no one is outraged because we are so overexposed to sex, but when raw human emotions and interactions come out, it obviously has to do with sex. Many people can’t see any form of body contact, whether it is modern dance or symbolism for a father embracing their child, as anything other than sexual. When I watched this video I saw these animalistic features in two people trapped in a literal and figurative cage. The girl could escape, but the man could not. After I looked up the meaning behind the video, I saw that Sia’s father had dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder, and it was something both she and he struggled with emotionally and seemingly physically. Also, Sia said herself the two dancers represent two sides of herself at war. To dismiss someones painful memories as being lecherous because of something so simple and natural as the human touch is ludicrous. Modern dance has the power to tell very emotional stories, especially so when there are two dancers present. Not all music videos are meant to be sexual. Especially this one.

[Video ID: a TikTok of three young white men doing choreographed and synchronized dances with rolling chairs to the song "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion. The video opens with one man closing his eyes as a chair wheel seems to stroke his cheek. Another man leans in close to kiss his own chair. The third man spins around gazing soulfully into the camera, which turns around and reveals that he is gazing at his own wheeled chair. Then the three men hold hands while each spinning and gliding on their chairs in choreographed moves. /End ID]

IT’S BACK
I HONESTLY FORGOT THIS WAS THE FIRST VIDEO TO EVER MAKE ME CRY
I rarely have a visceral reaction to a TikTok but this one... this one got me
List of wild things in this video:
- The guy whose computer screen you can see at the start is looking up “what to do if a dog has rabies”
- The unbroken wall of hydroflasks in front of the teacher’s podium
- Good Mythical Morning poster
- Inexplicable “NO TALKING DURING RAZOR LOVE” sign
- The guy next to the videographer just has the letters “WBOEOADRS” in giant font on his computer screen
- The teacher knowing to pause for booing after he mentione Ashe County Middle School
- The kid that yells “I hate them!” enthusiastically
- A sign that says “NO FREAKING” with a picture of two stick figures having sex
- Hand-painted “educasion is overated” poster
- The fact that the class knows to say “standing by” when he tells them to stand by
- The woman literally waiting outside the door to hand over the dog
- The tenderness with which he handles the dog before he announces its imminent demise
- “DO YOUR BUCKING VOCAB”
This mom on tiktok made a video suggesting that if parents are tired of the terribly annoying music that’s set to these videos aimed at little kids that they should just put the videos on their TV and put it on mute and then play their own music over it because it will usually match the beat. People responded by suggesting songs for which this could not possibly work and I cannot stop thinking about this video in particular
