Hi idk if you remember me, I've changed like ten usernames, I was the dude that asked you abt academic paths and burnout and nuclear physics and I just wanted to share with you that I'm in the middle of my internship (oceanography), we opened a sediment core from somewhere near Crete and I fucking touched sand and stones that were 1500+ meters under the seabed and some of them were from the Santorini volcanic eruption, from the minoan period and they let us keep them and it's probably the coolest thing I've ever done in my life that's it I just wanted to tell you
