The Silence: So when you’re out in the woods, you can sometimes run into the Silence. It’s literally what it sounds like, or rather doesn’t sound like. Everything goes dead quiet. Birds, bugs, frogs, the wind even, go dead quiet. It’s often accompanied by a sense of pure fear that you need to get the fuck out of there. It’s actually kinda common, many people that have spent a lot of time in the woods have had it happen to them. The feelings of dread probably come from how everything will get quiet when predators are nearby and people’s survival instincts go into overdrive thinking they’re in danger. Still creepy though.

Not Deer: Sometimes you do hear something in the woods, usually at night, prevalent to appalachia, there's knocking on trees, moans and cries, you know in your heart that it's not a deer making those noises but you pretend that's what it is so you can sleep at night. The Not Deer haunt the woods and all you can hope for is that they're not curious enough to come looking for you.
