Do you have any cool lizards there in the US? Where I live the biggest ones are like 3 inches long and mostly nocturnal. I've never actually seen a big lizard in real life.
We have Gila Monsters in the Southwest and Hellbenders (that’s an amphibian but he deserves cool lizard status) but in Michigan we only have skinks and racerunners
