I live in the Sci-Tech residence hall (so to set the scene - we’re all nerds) and one of the hall rules is ‘no pets’ but a lot of people on my floor were talking about how a robot isn’t technically a pet and so long story short about 15 people from the floor have been talking in the laundry room for over an hour about how to build a robot dog and get away with it

Hi Europe! As someone whose had pets during heat waves, put them in the fridge. I’m not kidding. They’ll love it. Clean out a shelf and just pop them in. During the last Michigan heat wave I emptied out an ice chest just for the cats to relax in.

Also don’t like. Lock your house pets in there.

On really bad days my coworkers will take turns hanging out in the walk-in cooler. I bet the cats really enjoy the temporary relief same as we do.

They absolutely do! And people don’t realize it but if you’ve got furry friends remember that they get hot too!

So I saw a little box that said “pet logg” at an estate sale and I just had to buy it. When I got home I realized it came with a leash and instructions on how to care for it. Apparently in 1976 children could pay $5 to have their pet logg cremated. I’ve looked up the company and I legit can’t find any other pet loggs so I guess they were all cremated. Name suggestions are greatly appreciated.
