Amusingly, when Burn Gorman saw this picture in the art book, he lamented, “My overacting got that moment cut from the film.”
I just hope the Blu-Ray release will include the extended cut of that scene….
This comic is really choppy but I just had to make something when I saw this post…Burn overacting is honestly one of my favorite things.
Well, once again referring to this post, I notice Newt’s birthday is in January. Most events of the film take place in January. So, uh… I borrowed some dialogue from Bob’s Burgers (possibly the only thing I like as much as Pacific Rim right now). Now here’s what could’ve happened in between the scenes we actually saw.
(Also, I noticed that Pentecost addresses the scientists as “Newt” and “Gottlieb” - adhering to each one’s personal preferences. He’s just the coolest.)
