My brother is literally in jail for killing our mom because he finally snapped after years of him calling CPS, trying to get help, calling the police, begging for help etc etc and now I'm having to fight my ass off for him proving how the system REPEATEDLY failed him. The system is not here for victims.

No. It is not. I’ve got a story about that too. I can’t go into super detail but:

My mom made sure my grandpa (her dad) died as painfully and as miserably as possible. He came in the hospital my mom worked at, my mom complained because conflict of interest (she had left home at 14 to get away from him). The union got involved even. There was a court case about this. But the hospital won. Mom had to take care of her rapist. Her piece of shit father. And what a coincidence, he failed to thrive in the hospital environment. All the nurses knew that piece of shit had to die. Mom knew that piece of shit had to die. And…. He did.

Well for starters, you’re 14. Assuming you’re American, there’s nothing you really can do without faking some paperwork. Because of age laws regarding work, even if you legally can work, you’re gonna struggle to find a job. An employer is gonna want to hire someone they can get the most work-hours and labor out of. You’re not gonna find a place that will rent to you. If you do leave and your dad reports you as a missing child, that will be on your record if/when cops find you. 

You’re dads fucking disgusting, sorry, but the people telling you to leave home at age 14, are frankly beyond out of touch with how fucking awful it’s gonna be to try to support yourself considering your age and, unfortunately, gender identity.

Uhhh if I had to guess an “average” age for someone to lose their virginity, I’d say probably about 17? But being a virgin into your 20s is totally normal. I was uh. Abused as a kid so I don’t really have an… appropriate answer for when I lost my virginity. I count it as the first time I willingly banged and shit I was about 12. Still way too young. 20 is totally normal and it also depends on so many factors like cultural expectations and meeting the right person and your own sexual identity and so on.

It's a horrid thing to say, but in my experience, it's because many parents *encourage* predatory behavior because they see it as "within parental bounds" with the whole parental rights thing and how children are supposed to obey them without question. They just blindly assume no one will use it for abhorrent reasons because *they dont* and leave it at that. A lot of people who have kids do it as a status symbol and have no business or actual understanding of how to raise children.

There’s this guy in my art class who is like mid 30s and very obviously still lives in his parents basement and he talks loud as fuck and makes bizarre ass jokes that no one laughs at and one of his first notable things he said was “lesbians are lesbians because they were raped by men” and the prof just kinda stared at him slack-jaw for a moment before being like “uh. no.” And he gets into arguments with the prof in the middle of class like we were talking about the original meaning of the swastika (the prehistory version of it) and he buts in with cringey ass hitler jokes and really poor taste jokes about Jewish people and he doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up and he tries mansplaining things to the prof and the prof is fucking exhausted of talking to him like the rest of the class is and I’ve never been so fucking close to kicking a man in the fucking throat

well, no, don’t support all trans women. for example, the op of this post is a literal rapist. she does not deserve anyone’s support.

not only has she avoided accountability, but multiple trans people have come forward about her sexually abusing them, and sometimes abusing them in other ways. she’s threatened her victim into silence and tried to play off any mention of what she’s done as transmisogyny. eli erlick is her name and she’s been using her positions of power in trans spaces to her advantage.

if that isn’t enough for people to not support her (which it should be), she also identifies as a “dyke” (anti-lesbian slur) and “butch” (lesbian-specific identity) both while not being a lesbian. her victim who has come forward has also experienced ableism from eli.

so basically, she’s a rapist, abuser, ableist, and lesbophobic. she also has been trying to turn the tables on her victim, pretending like her abuse wasn’t abuse because her victim consented on other occasions.
